The Cherries are back! Filmed at a living-room concert we did these two songs from our long time repertoire in front of an audience of 30. This is probably a part of our unknown future...playing at private evenings, parties, campfires...

This video-clip was a big surprise to us. When we got to know our dear new-found friend Jean, we had a new video on youtube within days! Our contribution to the Manifestation / Demonstration against the restrictions because of a 'so-called virus' is singing songs of resistance ever since we started the 'flashmob'-thing in April in Colmar/France.

I did that cover of this famous protest song by Johnny Cash with german lyrics as a statement to all that 'Coronoia'-Madness. Originally, i intended to sing that song live with the counry-band i was playing in for lots of years. They refused to do it- even as a 'solo'-Number, which actually hurted me deeply. Fortunately it can not just seen here, but also in the 2021 Corona-Documentary from Freiburg, Germany, made by my Dad, Bodo.

We decided to do a promotion single and a videoclip out of this song. The idea was to rush through the different areas of pop-music from 50s-Rock'n'Roll, 60sBeat, 70sDisco, Country, Gothic, Heavy Metal to HipHop. We worked together with a Theater-scenery company, FUNDUZ, who did all the outfits and different stage-constructions for us. As a countermove they got this video too to promote their own business.
The RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS did a quite similar video some years later...but we were first. Man, this was fun...:-))

This funny little timeline where a boy is first ignored by the girl he's in love with, mixed with Band-footage, was maybe a bit to complicated to understand. A classic love-story with a happy ending, thanks to the clairvoyant he has asked for some help 😉
